Overview
MAMP is a local server environment for macOS and Windows that runs Apache, Nginx, PHP and MySQL on your own machine. The paid MAMP PRO adds unlimited sites with individual hostnames, PHP versions and caching, plus snapshots, Blueprints, Composer and Mailhog email testing. An included MCP server lets Claude Desktop read project files and run WP-CLI commands against local sites.
