Overview

Cloudmark is a cloud bookmark collection you create by picking a name, which becomes the collection's link. A save button dragged to the bookmarks bar files a page's title, URL and icon in one click, and bookmarks can be given categories, then searched, filtered and sorted on one screen. Anyone with the link can read a collection; only the holder of its write token can change it.

Best for
Individuals who want a link-shareable bookmark list they can save to without creating an account
Pricing
No prices are shown on the captured page; it states only that Cloudmark is released under the AGPL licence and is open source on GitHub.

Strengths and trade-offs

Strengths

  • One-click save from a bookmarks bar button, no account to register
  • Collections open by link on any browser or phone, no login to read
  • Categories, search, sort and 14 keyboard shortcuts on one screen
  • AGPL-licensed, with source published on GitHub

Trade-offs

  • Anyone holding the link can read the collection; reading needs no credentials
  • Lose the write token and it cannot be recovered — the server stores only its hash
  • Interface is offered in two languages only (English and Chinese)
