Overview
Skyvern runs browser workflows using vision and LLM reasoning rather than DOM selectors, so automations are meant to survive UI changes. It logs into portals, fills forms, downloads and parses documents, and extracts data as JSON or CSV, handling CAPTCHAs, 2FA and proxy routing. Workflows are built by chat, SOP upload, browser recording, a visual builder or the Python and TypeScript SDKs.
- Best for
- Teams automating logins, form fills and data pulls on web portals that expose no API
- Pricing
- Free tier with 5,000 credits/month, then Hobby at $29/month and Pro at $149/month, with custom Enterprise pricing
- Runs on
- WebSelf-hostedCLI
Strengths and trade-offs
Strengths
- Open source, self-hostable via Docker
- Python and TypeScript SDKs, webhooks and MCP support
- Build by chat, SOP upload, browser recording or visual builder
- Handles CAPTCHAs, 2FA/TOTP and proxy geo-targeting
Trade-offs
- 2FA/TOTP and team workspaces require the $149/month Pro plan
- Free tier gives one concurrent run and about 170 actions a month
- HIPAA, SOC-2 report and human-in-the-loop are Enterprise-only
- Billed in credits, so cost tracks action volume, not seats
