Overview
Polar is a merchant of record and billing platform for software vendors. It ingests usage events, aggregates them into billable units and generates charges, covering subscriptions, seats, credits, trials and discounts. It also handles tax collection and remittance, payment processing, refunds, chargebacks, fraud checks and payouts, and reports revenue, cost and margin per customer.
