Overview

Friendly Captcha is a bot-protection service that replaces visible CAPTCHA challenges with a proof-of-work puzzle solved in the browser while the user fills in a form, alongside risk signals such as proxy, VPN, WebDriver and bot detection. Sites add a widget script and verify submissions through a siteverify API that returns risk intelligence data.

Best for
Sites needing GDPR-compliant, accessible bot protection on forms without user-facing challenges.
Pricing
Free plan for non-commercial low-traffic sites, then €9, €39 or €200 per month depending on domains and request volume, with custom pricing for Enterprise.
Runs on
Self-hosted
