Overview

DevCycle is a feature flag and experimentation platform built on the OpenFeature standard, with SDKs for web, server and mobile. Flags are served from an edge network with local caching and fallback to safe defaults, and managed via a dashboard, REST API, CLI or MCP server. It also covers A/B testing, gradual rollouts, targeting rules and audit logging.

Best for
Development teams that want feature flags on the OpenFeature standard without per-seat pricing
Pricing
Free for up to 1,000 client-side MAUs, then Business at $500/month billed annually ($625/month otherwise) with usage overages, and custom Enterprise pricing.
Runs on
WebSelf-hostedCLI

Strengths and trade-offs

Strengths

  • OpenFeature-native; full project config can be exported
  • Unlimited seats, flags, environments and projects on all plans
  • 15+ SDKs and 15+ integrations included in every plan
  • Free tier needs no credit card or sales call

Trade-offs

  • Big step from free to Business at $500-625/month
  • Overages billed per MAU, config request and event, so cost varies
  • SSO/SAML, SCIM and approval workflows are Enterprise-only
  • Free tier capped at 1,000 client-side MAUs
