Overview
Supabase is a hosted platform that gives each project its own Postgres database. Around it sit authentication with row level security, file storage, realtime sync, edge functions, vector embeddings and instant REST data APIs, managed from a dashboard with table and SQL editors. The code is open source and can be self-hosted.
