Overview
Sayr is a source-available project management platform that pairs an internal board with a public-facing portal. Teams manage tasks, priorities, sprints and releases, while external users browse permitted items, submit bugs and feature requests, vote and comment. Visibility is set per task, label and comment, with GitHub sync and server-sent-event live updates.
- Best for
- Small product teams wanting their internal board and public feedback portal in one self-hostable tool.
- Pricing
- Free for up to 5 members, then Pro at $3 per seat per month; Enterprise is contact-sales and no price is shown for community self-hosting.
- Runs on
- WebSelf-hosted
Strengths and trade-offs
Strengths
- Public portal and internal board share one set of tasks
- Visibility set per task, per label and per comment
- Source available, self-hostable on Docker
- GitHub sync can move task status when a PR merges
Trade-offs
- Free plan caps 5 members, 3 saved views, 3 templates and 1 team
- Self-hosted AI features require your own API key
- Community self-hosting is single-organisation, community support only
- Product is at v0.3, so the feature set is still early
