Overview

Multica is an open-source platform for managing humans and coding agents in one issue tracker. Agents appear in the assignee picker, move tasks through an enqueue, claim, start, complete or fail lifecycle, comment and change status, and stream progress over WebSocket. A local or cloud daemon runs the agents and detects 14 supported coding CLIs on first run.

Best for
Engineering teams that run multiple coding agents and want to assign and track their work in one place
Pricing
No prices are shown; the platform is open source and self-hostable, with a hosted cloud version, a free trial and a 'Talk to sales' link but no published figures.

Strengths and trade-offs

Strengths

  • Fully open source; self-host via Docker Compose or Kubernetes
  • Auto-detects 14 coding CLIs and registers each as a runtime
  • Agent execution stays on your own machines, not Multica servers
  • Reusable skill definitions any agent on the team can run

Trade-offs

  • No prices published for the hosted cloud version
  • Needs a CLI and daemon installed on each machine you connect
  • Agent capacity is limited by hardware you supply
  • LLM provider is bring-your-own, so model costs sit outside the tool
