Overview
Lightpanda is a headless browser engine written from scratch in Zig for automation, crawling and AI agents. It runs JavaScript but does no graphical rendering. Puppeteer scripts connect to its hosted cloud over a WebSocket endpoint instead of launching a local browser, and that cloud can run either Lightpanda's engine or Chrome.
