Overview

Hexabot is a self-hosted platform for building AI agents and workflows that trigger from chat, forms, schedules or events and then call models, tools, APIs and back-office systems. Flows are modelled as a visual graph or as portable YAML with typed contracts, alongside memory, retrieval and MCP integration points. You scaffold a project with the CLI and run the stack yourself.

Best for
Teams that want to self-host AI chat and workflow automation on their own infrastructure.
Pricing
Free self-hosted Community plan, then $19/month (Starter), $59/month (Pro) and $149/month (Unlimited) for licence keys, with a custom quote for Enterprise.
Runs on
Self-hostedCLI

Strengths and trade-offs

Strengths

  • Self-hosted: data, models and memory stay on your infrastructure
  • No billing by message volume or workflow execution
  • No plan limit on projects or integration connections
  • Flows as a visual graph or portable YAML for version control

Trade-offs

  • Community tier caps you at 1 user and 10 workflows
  • Self-hosting only; you run and maintain the infrastructure
  • Source-available under FCL-1.0-ALv2, not an OSI open-source licence
  • Unlimited is fair-use, and seats and activations are still capped
