Overview

CodeZero is an open-source no-code platform for building automations, AI agents and backend endpoints in a visual editor. Flows can call a chosen LLM with MCP-compatible tools attached, and integrate services such as Discord and GLS shipping. It can run on CodeZero's cloud, on your own infrastructure, or as a hybrid with cloud editing and self-hosted execution.

Best for
Teams that want no-code automations and AI agents while keeping data on their own infrastructure.
Pricing
No prices are shown; the pricing page carries no plan details, and the homepage only states that a free plan and a community edition licence exist alongside an Enterprise Edition.

Strengths and trade-offs

Strengths

  • Open source, with a community edition licence and a free plan
  • Cloud, self-hosted, or hybrid cloud-editor/self-hosted execution
  • Pick your own LLM and attach MCP-compatible tools to agents
  • Visual builder covers automations and backend endpoints

Trade-offs

  • Site labels the release v0.0.0-canary, so it is pre-1.0
  • No prices published anywhere in the captured pages
  • 30x throughput and 12x latency claims vs n8n are vendor's own, unevidenced
  • Small vendor: one German UG entity and a single contact email
