Overview

Balsamiq is a wireframing and prototyping tool aimed at low-fidelity UI work. You build boards from reusable UI components, or prompt Balsamiq AI with a rough idea or a screenshot and then make the result interactive. Boards can be embedded in other tools, and an MCP server lets clients such as Claude and Cursor read, edit and build on projects.

Best for
Product teams and founders wanting fast low-fidelity wireframes and clickable prototypes
Pricing
No free tier: three plans at $16, $24 and $35 per editor per month billed annually ($192, $288 and $420 per year), after a 14-day free trial.
